چکیده
Introduction: Low back pain (LBP) is the most common health problem between men and women 20 50. Although LBP's exact origin remains unknown, it understood that degenerative damage to intervertebral disk (IVD) plays a central role in pathogenic mechanism leading pain. The study aims incidence, clinical features, presentations of lumbar disc prolapse outcome microdiscectomy for period 1 year post operatively.
Methods: 28 male's patient 22 female patients qualified. data were obtained by direct interrogation examination. information was taken from includes patient's age, gender, occupation, chief complaint, history present illness, neurological signs symptoms. Plain X-ray lumbosacral spine each anteroposterior, lateral view stress views.
Results: 15 male (53.5%) eight females (36.3%). site prolapsed L4-L5 (58%); next L5-S1 (38%), backache presenting It presents all 50 (100%). Sciatica 45 (90%), 13 radiation right leg, whereas 26 have left leg six bilateral radiation, (90%) total complaint recovered,36 (86.7%) real compliant sciatica improved, paresthesia represented 32 (64%) (87.5%) them recovered, 16 (32%) had motor weakness 12 (75%) recovered. Conclusion: Lumbar may be associated with more rapid initial recovery sciatica; good outcomes microdiscectomy.

Lumbar microdiscectomy: a clinicoradiological analysis of outcome.
BACKGROUND The long-term outcome after lumbar microdiscectomy (LMD) may be affected by low back pain (LBP) and segmental instability, the determinants of which remain unclear. We sought to analyze the interaction between clinical, functional, and radiological variables and their impact on patient outcome. METHODS All patients who underwent LMD in 2004-2005 were invited to participate in this ...

Wood shrinks anisotropically as it loses hygroscopic moisture. While longitudinal shrinkage (parallel to the grain) is nearly negligible in normal wood, transverse shrinkage (across the grain) is significant and characterized as tangential and radial shrinkage. The application of average tangential shrinkage values to a rectangular cross section results in errors, especially for boards cut from...
متن کاملThe Softwood Lumber
The continuous friction for more than two centuries in softwood lumber trade between Canada and the United States only keeps escalating. The reason for the prolonged battle in the softwood lumber trade is the huge economic value of the bilateral lumber trade, the size of the lumber markets in both countries, and the adverse impact of one country’s policies on the other country’s lumber market. ...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Hardwood Lumber Scanning Tests to Determine NHLA Lumber Grades
This paper concerns the scanning, and grading of kiln-dried hardwood lumber. A prototype system is described that uses laser sources and a video camera to scan boards. The system automatically detects defects and wane, grades the boards, and then searches for higher value boards within the original board. The goal is to derive maximum commercial value based on current market lumber prices. This...
